  RADIOGRAPHY

Radiography is used to produce a visual picture on a radiography film. Steel Inspection & Tesing Ltd. uses both Iridium and X-ray.

X-ray is generally used for steel 1/8" thick or less, or a material less dense than steel, such as aluminum. X-ray gives a very clear picture showing extreme sensitivity.

Iridium is used for material such as
steel usually over 1/8" thick.
